First Impressions of Scenery Coffee
As soon as you open the bag, you’re hit with delicate florals and a whiff of bright citrus. It’s light, almost playful – like the first warm breeze after a long winter. Even in the grind, the freshness shines through.
Brewed up in a Chemex (because, let’s be honest, a clean coffee like this deserves a clean brew), the aroma intensifies. And the way the light his a Chemex is special (even if it shows how dirty it may be). You get a hit of white grape upfront, backed by soft honeysuckle florals. The pour itself looks golden, almost syrupy under the morning sun.
Want to get the full tasting experience? Brew it slightly cooler (around 92°C) to highlight that white grape juiciness even more…thanks Google.
Taste Test

First sip? It’s a burst of citrus, like biting into a perfectly ripe tangerine.
Second sip? Juicy white grapes come forward, bringing a candy-like sweetness.
The floral notes hum in the background, think jasmine rather than rose. Clean, lifting the entire cup.
The mouthfeel is silky but bright, with a crisp, refreshing finish that almost demands another sip. No heaviness, no bitterness. Just clarity, sweetness, and light.
If you love vibrant, juicy coffee that tastes like sunshine, this Scenery Coffee isgoing to hit all the right spots.
I poured this into a tiny little hand made coffee beaker I got while in Morocco. It is very nice to drink from but about a third the size of a regular mug so the coffee got colder quicker. With that some new notes really did come out in this coffee (while others disappeared). A sweet citrus syrup became more prominent and the light white grape slowly faded.
Perfect For:
- Morning brew on a bright day
- Coffee drinkers who love light, clean, fruity cups
- Chemex or V60
- Anyone chasing the best specialty coffee beans about.
