CASK is Cork’s quiet genius. Effortlessly stylish, endlessly creative, and a full decade ahead of the pack in terms of Irish cocktails. Best cocktails in Cork? Best cocktails in Ireland more like.

Tucked beside Hotel Isaacs on MacCurtain Street, this multi-award-winning cocktail bar isn’t just another trendy spot with glassware and garnishes. CASK helped ignite Ireland’s cocktail culture. And long after the bandwagon got crowded, they’re still out front, blazing new trails with every menu drop.
What to expect from CASK in Cork

So first of all, you enter under the arch and through a side door, the front door is actually the exit, yeah I know that sounds slightly confusing but it works well. Don’t mess with the flow. I have been here many many times, with groups of sesh heads, quite drink with friends or even fresh (or not so fresh) off the Cork City Marathon, medal still swinging, I wanted one thing: a tasty stiff drink. And CASK, like always delivered.
Inside: dark wood, glowing shelves, vintage posters, and what might be the most photogenic backbar in Ireland. Outside: that courtyard: lush, intimate, complete with a literal waterfall.

Posters on the walls hint at their global influence: takeovers in New York, collabs with Panda & Sons, and pop-ups that show CASK isn’t just known at home.

The soundtrack of CASK hums away in the background, made up of happy folk chatting away, the clink and shake of cocktail kit behind the bar and the squeak as someone entered the exit door and bartenders who mix like they’re composing songs. Inside, it’s all polished wood, flickering candles, and low chatter. Outside, a waterfall courtyard that feels like a secret garden in the middle of the city.

Cocktails in Cork may not get better than CASK if you don’t know what vibe you are feeling because this place offers you plenty of options.
Best Cocktails in Cork?
CASK brings a menu in the form of The Greatest Hits series. I have nailed a few drinks from Part 10 and 27. As the name suggests the menu reads like a vinyl sleeve full of bangers. No fluff. Just creative, layered drinks built around seasonal, foraged, and local Irish ingredients. Come one, that deserves around of applause.

From infusions to garnishes, these drinks are chef-level in detail. And while the cocktails are the stars, there’s enough spirts behind the bar to make any whiskey-hound pause. Whether you’re into the classics or curious about modern Irish cocktails done differently (see: the Beamish Boulevardier), there’s something here for you.
Beamish Boulevardier
West Cork Bog Oak Whiskey, Beamish Stout, Campari, Hivemind Honey
Bold, bitter, and unmistakably Cork. A boulevardier that took a brewery detour and came back better.

Nine Lives
Boatyard Vodka, Aperol, Strawberry, Verbena, Sake
Sherbet-smooth and subtly sharp. Stylish, silky, and built to charm.

Silver Lining
Woodford Rye, Hennessy VSOP, Vintage Port, Chanterelle Mushroom, Apricot
Mushrooms in a cocktail? Absolutely. Rich, earthy, and unexpectedly poetic.
Stall the Ball
Glendalough Gin, Nettle, Sugar Snap Pea
Fresh, green, and garden-bright. Like sipping early spring.
