When you’re strolling the colourful streets of Dingle, trying to recover from a night that might have included too many whiskey tastings (I won’t judge), there’s one place you’ve got to stop: Bean in Dingle. Nestled in the heart of this lively town, this specialty coffee shop is a haven for caffeine lovers and anyone who appreciates a well-crafted flat white. Think of it as the perfect antidote to last night’s adventures or a place to gear up for more.
Why You Need to Visit Bean in Dingle
Sure, Dingle is famous for its pubs, music, and wildlife. But let’s get real great coffee deserves its own round of applause and coffee in Dingle is getting great. Bean in Dingle delivers every time. It was the first coffee shop in Dingle I ever went to, as it’s beside my favourite pub (Dick Mack’s) and a great free parking area. So usually by the end of a few days the car has 6 of these little yellow cups dotted about it. Maybe I have even said this is the best coffee in Dingle.
It’s just a great buzzing wee spot that has become a must-visit spot for both locals and tourists. Seriously, you’ll be tempted to trade your mid afternoon holiday pint for a flat white.
“Wait, did I just say that out loud?” Yep, the coffee is that good.

The Vibe
Walking into Bean in Dingle feels like joining a friend’s kitchen (if it was super stylish full of cool cats), where the aroma of freshly brewed coffee greets you like an old pal. The baristas are the real MVPs here: friendly, passionate, and efficient there may be a line but they work through it very well indeed! They do have some tables and chairs so if you get in at the right time you’ll have a place to rest. But most people grab the now iconic yellow cup and explore the town.

Whether you’re parked at a communal table, perched by the window watching Dingle life pass by or just letting the Kerry air cleanse you, it’s the kind of place where time seems to slow down perfect for soaking in the laid-back magic of the town.
What to Order
Coffee. Well espresso based coffee, not like those massive starbucks cups filled with foam but great Irish speciality coffee. Their flat white is top notch, but if you’re feeling adventurous, go for one of their single-origin filter options that they always seem to have on. Expect flavour notes that dance on your palate, from fruity bursts to chocolatey smoothness. And don’t forget to pair your brew with a pastry. It’d be a rookie mistake not to – almond croissant anyone? They also sell their own beans and all that merch jazz too.

So next time you’re in Dingle, skip the gas station machine shite, grab a cup at Bean in Dingle, and let the magic of a well-brewed coffee make your day. Who knows, you might even come back for seconds and trust me, no one will blame you.
Coffee in Dingle
For a town its size, Dingle is surprisingly well-caffeinated. You won’t have to go far to find a flat white, but if you’re on the hunt for speciality coffee the good stuff, with carefully sourced beans and baristas who actually care it’s a bit more of a mission. That said, Dingle punches well above its weight. You just need to know where to look.
